Anthropologist Linda Rabben surveys the rich tradition and social context of stained-glass decoration in Baltimore’s built environment, from 1850 to the present. A slide show illustrates a few of the hundreds of panels she photographed during three years of research in libraries, museums, homes, houses of worship, public buildings and the streets of Baltimore City and surrounding counties.
