SPECIAL EVENTS FOR MEMBERS ONLY

Art Seminar Group offers a number of events open only to Members. (Please visit Join to learn more about ASG's two levels of membership). Ever popular are curator led visits to newly opened exhibits at the BMA , WAM and Peabody Library. These range in topic from an examination of Renaissance Riddles, looking at the Peabody’s rare books collection of very early “printers’ devices” designed to establish printers as highly skilled artisans, to touring the WAM’s newly opened Pearls on a String, and the BMA’s reinstalled American collection. We have also visited local, transformational buildings such as the University of Baltimore’s Angelos Law Center soon after its well-received opening, and the highly praised renovations of the Baltimore Design School and the Chesapeake Shakespeare Theater.

Private collections are available to our Members and we always enjoy listening to collectors talk about their collections.

Day trips to Arena Stage and D.C. museums are regularly included in our Member-Only programs as we take advantage of interesting theater presentations, such as "The Originalist", and exhibitions such as "Diaghilev and the Ballet Russes" at the National Gallery of Art.
