Anthropologist Linda Rabben surveys the rich tradition and social context of stained-glass decoration in Baltimore’s built environment, from 1850 to the present. A slide show illustrates a few of the hundreds of panels she photographed during three years ofresearch in libraries, museums, homes, houses of worship, public buildings and the streets of Baltimore City and surrounding counties.
