This 1987 documentary will be presented by Peabody faculty member, Ernest Liotti. Mr. Liotti will interject comments and additional information on the life of the legendary singer. Maria Callas was the embodiment of a classic diva. One of the most important musical figures of the 1950s and early 60s the documentary “Life and Art” covers her life from childhood to reigning star. Her life is chronicled by such luminaries as Franco Zeffirelli and Carlo Maria Giulini.
