The Peabody Institute Vocal Studies Program is highly competitive and nationally renowned; each year over 100 singers come to Baltimore from all over the US as well as internationally to enroll in courses of study with our outstanding faculty, including undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate degrees. Two full main-stage productions with orchestra are presented annually. Musicians also perform smaller chamber opera production at the Baltimore Theatre Project and opera scene programs each semester. Historic performances and contemporary opera, as well as art song, musical theater, and oratorio are studied. Peabody Opera will join the Art Seminar Group with highlights from this year’s season.
