Members’ Trip: Creative Mexico City

Wednesday, November 4–Tuesday, November 10, 2026

In-person members’ program

Mexico City holds one of the Western Hemisphere’s greatest concentrations of art and architecture, from Aztec temple ruins and colonial cathedrals to mid-century modernist landmarks and 21st-century galleries. From November 4 to 10, 2026, join fellow Art Seminar Group members on an exclusive journey through the creative capital of the Americas, with private, behind-the-scenes access to the studios, museums, and buildings that showcase the city’s artistic life.

Walk through Frida Kahlo’s cobalt-blue lifelong home, Casa Azul, before the public arrives. Stand before murals by Rivera, Orozco, and Siqueiros inside the Palacio de Bellas Artes on a before-hours tour. Join private guides for visits to residential masterworks by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Luis Barragán, whose integration of vivid color, water, light, and nature has influenced generations of designers.

Meet working contemporary artists in their own homes and studios for candid conversations about process and practice. Experience the Museo Nacional de Antropología after hours, and join a curator at the Museo Jumex, an acclaimed contemporary art museum designed by the great British architect David Chipperfield.

The program connects 14th-century pyramid ruins to newmedia installations inside a 16th-century convent, spanning centuries of artistic ambition across a single walkable, unforgettable city. Reserve your place today by contacting our tour operator Arrangements Abroad at 800-221-1944 or trips@arrangementsabroad.com.
